The challenge

Origo underwent a major restructuring, splitting into three smaller entities to simplify operations and focus on selling proprietary software. One department was spun off as a standalone company, requiring a migration from the shared HubSpot portal into a new, independent portal.

The migration aimed to address key challenges:

  • Migrating years of historical data, including emails, deals, and activities, to maintain continuity.
  • Simplifying operations by starting fresh, leaving behind dashboards and reports to align with the new company’s workflows.
  • Ensuring user and team ownership were accurately reassigned to reflect the new structure.

The project demanded meticulous planning to address these challenges while managing a large volume of data—249,000 records filtered from a total of 1.3 million records.
